I’m sure that we’ve all dreamt of running away from a gorilla demon through some God forsaken jungle as a Jamaican Olympian. Oh, you haven’t… well… you should, because now you can!
Imangi Studios pushed out an update to its insanely popular sequel game, Temple Run 2, on August 2nd which now features six time Olympic gold medalist track star Usain Bolt as a playable character. This is the first time in the series that a real person has been made available in the game. You can buy your very own Fastest Man on Earth for a very reasonable $0.99. You can do that, or, if you just had to make your kid feel special, you can shell out a couple hundred thousand to have him show up at a birthday party, your call, pal. I think the latter is a little less feasible for a few of us.
The only catch to this is that it’s only for a limited time, so you don’t have long to snatch him up. If you do or already have, tell us how cool it is to play as an Olympic track star in the comments below.
P.S. Someone call Imangi and have them to add Tom Cruise to the next Temple Run 2 update. I swear, he could be in a movie about female cats giving birth, and his producers will find a way to inject a running scene into the film. I think he fits the criteria very well if I do say so myself.
