Sprint and Best Buy want to help out students with a lovely little offer that has a whole lot of free attached to it. Starting today, Sprint is allowing students to qualify for their new program to get them a free year of service. Students must first purchase a phone with the student activation price, then pay the small activation fee, and hopefully get that year of free service. The contract will be for 2 years, but having 1 of those years free is one heck of a deal. The plan will give students free talk and text, and 1 GB of free data service. Some will say that is not enough to handle their data needs, but come on, you are getting free everything else, so just try to utilize WiFi was best as you can.
