Motorola has launch their iDEN ready Motorola i1 on the regional iDEN carrier SouthernLINC Wireless, a carrier that provides coverage in the Southeast U.S. including Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Motorola i1 is the first iDEN ready Android device.
Lets talk about the specs, the Motorola i1 is overall a mid-range phone, that features a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen, WiFi, Bluetooth, push-to-talk, 5-megapixel camera, GPS and a 2GB microSD card, but you can increase it. The Motorola i1 is also a rugged phone, packing Military Spec 810F certification, which means the phone is resistant to rain, dust, shock, vibration, temperature extremes, low pressure, salt fog, humidity and solar radiation.
You can get this phone for only $199.99 on a two-year contract, or for $274.99 on a one year contract.
