Don’t toss that Samsung Galaxy Note 2 out just yet. It looks like it could be on the list for an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Well, at least ones in Finland anyways. Whether or not the same rings true in the US is a completely different story. The information managed to sneak its way onto the Samsung’s Finnish website. You can see in the image above that the same information rings true for their 4G version of the Note 2 as well.
There have been various videos of Samsung’s Lollipop plans as well as some devices, the Galaxy S5 in Poland and the Galaxy S4 GPE, already seeing updates to the newer version of Android. It isn’t out of the realm of possibility that Samsung could indeed update the Note 2 in some fashion. It doesn’t mean the same update treatment will make it to the states though. We have seen plenty of updates roll overseas in the past that never landed here. One can hope though.
