The
ASUS Transformer Prime is with out a doubt in our minds, the tablet to have this year. Packing in a Nvidia “Kal-El” quad-core chip and all the extras one could need in a tablet. From the images we showed you n the past along with the video of it on stage at
All Things Digital, it looks to be extremely thin even with the keyboard attached.
We are still eagerly waiting for few things form ASUS though. We still need to know a price tag, more internal specs, and a launch date. As luck would have it, we may have already found out the launch date at least. According to an internal slide from ASUS, there is a very nice bullet point that lists the Transformer Prime launch in Nov/9.
There is also a small bullet point near the bottom that mentions ICS. Most likely they are referring to updates to ICS. Since the ICS software isn’t really available yet for them to get it up to speed before launch. With ASUS having one of the best track records in updates and fixes that I have ever seen, you can expect both the Transformer and Transformer Prime to be getting an
Ice Cream Sandwich update as soon as they can get it out.
Anyone else out there looking forward to the Prime launch?
