ASUS Italy has posted on their Facebook page that the ASUS Transformer Prime will not be available to purchase before Christmas. In fact Italians will not be able to pick up this highly sought after tablet until the last week of January. The plus to this announcement is ASUS is planning to Release the Prime with Android 4.0 on board. Also mentioned in the release was the plan to also put out a 3G variant of this Quad-core monster. Now we have let you all know that the Prime has been delayed in Canada due to WiFi issues, maybe it is more realistic that delaying the release is more due to Ice cream sandwich support and not WiFi. There is still no updated information from ASUS about a potential delay here in North America besides their official stance of  “It is still on schedule”. This is just one more chapter in the Transformer Prime saga and hopefully we will get official word from ASUS if the Prime will infact be delayed here in North America or not. Given what we have seen so far though I highly expect that there wont be any Primes wrapped up under the Christmas tree come December 25th.
