Acer Iconia A500 then you will be happy to know there are 2 system updates headed your way. The first update will be version 7.014.01 shortly followed up by 7.014.02. Both of the updates weigh in at less than 10MB’s each. No it isn’t an
Ice Cream Sandwich update, not yet anyways. What the updates seem to bring to the table is the newest
Android market (3.4.4) accompanied by its on screen widget and some improvements to UI speeds.
We tried to do a little digging and see if we could track down a changelog of what the two updates add beyond what was noticeable, but were unsuccessful. There are most likely just a few other tweaks or bug fixes included. As for root, no mention of losing root, or root being blocked have been reported yet either.
