Samsung is expected to make their Galaxy S III debut next month at Mobile World Congress, but they have one more device up their sleeve: the Galaxy S Advance. This handset is pretty much another device from Samsung’s original Galaxy S line, but there’s really nothing advanced about it. Specs include a 1 Ghz Dual Core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 768MB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 5MP Rear camera with a 1.3MP FFC, and of course, TouchWiz 4.0.
There’s no announcement whether or not this device will be receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but it should be. Other than that, it will be released throughout February in various markets such as China, Europe, and Russia. No word on North American countries, though I don’t know why anyone would pick up this up. A budget device? Maybe.
