Our good friends over at Otterbox sent through another little package for us to take a look at, and this time the case they suppled is for the T-Mobile myTouch 4G.
Otterbox are know for the excellent range of cases they produce for most cell phones and tablets and the new (fairly new) case for the T-Mobile myTouch 4G is no exception. This slim and surprisingly tough case incorporates a self-adhering screen, impact-absorbing silicone and a strong polycarbonate outer shell. While the outer shell won’t stick to many surfaces to stop your phone sliding around, it is designed to slide easily in and out of your pocket or bag!.

The cases comes in the 3 pieces.  The first is an adhesive screen protector.  The next 2 pieces are the case itself and they are perfectly shaped to fit all the openings and ports on your device, the new case is top notch.
First you apply the self-adhering clear protective film to the screen using the supplied cleaning cloth and installation card.  Next you apply the Durable silicone mid-layer over your phone and finally the one piece custom molded polycarbonate shell goes over the top.  Installation is extremely easy and takes only a couple of minutes.
The headphone and USB slot covers are the fold back type and the silicone inserts attached to the case at these areas fits to perfection.  Apart from the small raised slither on the headphone flap and the nail sized slit on the USB port cover, you would hardly even know that they are there.

I have found one slight downside to the headphone flap! Each time I pulled the phone from my pocket, the rubber texture would stick to my pocket lining and pull the flap open. Â Not a huge problem as it easily slips back into place, but a little annoying.
Overall the case is a great addition to any myTouch 4G and will certainly give you piece of mind the next tie you drop your phone.  juts don’t try that at home folks!
