For a while now Android users have been jealous of the I Am T-Pain app that Apple and Smule put out for devices running the iOS that provided Auto-Tune effects similar to the singing stars of today. Now the wait is over with the release of MicDroid for Android users. There are two versions available in the market, one is free and the other is a donate version with a price tag of $2.99. I have not yet noticed any significant differences in the two, so feel free to try either one.
While the app does not offer a fancy UI or recording over any classic auto-tune tracks (as of yet) it does offer a simple and fun way to kill time.
