I can never have too much high quality wallpaper for my EVO. I find myself on Google searching for the best pictures, or editing my own shots and uploading to my phone but sometimes I wish there were an easier way.
Thankfully there is. Flikie Wallpaper HD to the rescue. Download this FREE software from the Android Market and it comes with 15,000 (yeah – fifteen THOUSAND) HD wallpapers for you to choose from out of a multitude of categories, all within a tight little interface on your phone. No more having to search the web.
Not sure which of the wallpapers you want as your main background? No problem, the software comes with the option to rotate accordingly. Just set how often you want it changed during the course of the day!
There is also a Flikie 3D Add-On (3D gallery view) but you are warned within the application that this will cause a drain on your battery and your phone’s resources. Nothing really special about it but eye-candy. But still a nice touch. Â The 3D Add-On is not a required download to have this app active. You can download it, see if you like it and if you want to uninstall it later, you can no prob.
Very convenient app. A solid 4 stars. Trust me, if you don’t like any of the photos within this download, you just aren’t looking hard enough. If HD wallpaper isn’t your thing, there is also a “non-HD” version of this application also available for download.
