AT&T readying 4G LTE Galaxy Nexus Launch?

According to some rumors and a little talk around the industry, AT&T is the next carrier to bring the Galaxy Nexus to their customers. A trusted and inside source  at AT&T states the Galaxy Nexus is close at hand. The device is already out in a select few hands for testing on the network as we speak.

This would put the Galaxy Nexus on 3 out of the top 4 carriers in the U.S. Sprint is set to launch one very soon and we all know Verizon already has one. Even though they absolutely hate to advertise or talk about it. It is said that the AT&T version will run a standard SIM rather than the micro SIM Verizon currently uses.

I know many people still long for the true AOSP Android experience, but with new devices like the HTC One X landing on AT&T soon as well, I am wondering if the Galaxy Nexus is dead already. I am sure that many dedicated Android users will pick it up, but I am having a hard time seeing the Nexus brand continuing its reign after Verizon got it and let it die.  What do you guys think? Will the Gnes out seel the One X, or did the Nexus brand already lose its momentum? Oh, and where the hell is T-Mobile’s version?
