What is looking to be 100% confirmation from Best Buy, this image shows that August 12th is the day for the Motorola Droid 2 to be available for purchase. We already learned of Best Buy receiving accessories for the Motorola Droid 2 and it looks like next Thursday they’ll have a device to go with them. The above image reads: “The Droid 2 launches Thursday, August 12th with a hard street date. Do not sell the Droid 2 before August 12th.”
Now that Best Buy has pretty much just confirmed the launch, we’re waiting on you, Verizon. Since this device will be launching on August 12th, they should be stocking up shortly, so you might get a chance to walk out with one early. That is of course if you are dealing with an unaware sales rep.
