Cheero Power Plus Flavor Series Review: Now more delicious then ever

You may remember that last year we reviewed some battery packs from cheero, specifically ones that are part of their Danboard collection which featured the lovable cardboard character of the same name from Japan. Well, cheero has since updated one product in the collection, the cheero Power Plus, and given it some colour variations for you to choose from. Calling it the Flavor Series, cheero has named each one of the variants after a form of fruit or dessert, and coloured it in the appropriate colour all while maintaining the Danboard design. Sure, it’s not for everyone, but for those who are fans of our little cardboard friend, the choice is there.

Cheero Power Plus Flavor Series ReviewUnsurprisingly, nothing on the inside of the Power Plus has actually changed: you still get a 10,400mAh battery with a 1A and 2.1A output and for all intents and purposes, apart from the colour, is exactly the same as the original Power Plus Danboard Version. If you want to see a hands-on of the new Flavour Series, we’ve got our hands on the matcha (green) variant and made a quick review video which you can find below:

As shown in the video, you get the same assortment of inclusions out of the box, of which I am happy to say, the carry bag is still provided and as always is a nice touch. Performance-wise, the Power Plus still performs as we experienced last time around, and if you want a more in-depth look at how its charging performance is, you can take a look at our original review here.

Now, you might be expecting that a 10,400mAh portable battery with a licensed trademark might cost a little more than usual, but the opposite is true at the moment. Cheero is currently having a sale on its Amazon page where one of these Power Plus packs can be had for $49.99USD, down from the original price of $119.99. True, it’s not the cheapest on the market, but for a little novelty in your life, it’s hardly too expensive.

That’s pretty much all I have to say about the Power Plus this time around – again, if you want more specific details about how the Power Plus performs, check out our original review of the power pack here. And to find out more about the power pack itself and what other products cheero produce, you can visit the product page here.
