I pride myself on how I take care of my electronics. These things aren’t made of Nerf material after all, and I want to make sure that they last. That’s why I try and make sure I always carry my phone around in a good case. Â Thankfully, this is exactly the case I was looking for.
I’m not a big fan of the holster-style pouches nor am I a fan of the neoprene cases which seem to collect every last bit of lint from your pockets and slip off the phone every chance they get. Other cases seem so bulky, you might as well stick your device in a briefcase. I wanted something that could still comfortably fit in my pocket, yet still provide more than adequate protection for the phone.
Otterbox has worked overtime in providing the solution. The Commuter Series model, priced at $34.99, is the answer to the EVO owner’s prayers. It is shipped with:
- Self-adhering protective film for the screen
- Silicone cover for the phone to provide 2nd level of protection
- Cover also extends out to cover all ports for the phone
- Hard, yet thin protective shell for final, 3rd level of protection
- Camera lens is not level to surface so will not be scratched in any way
So if you’re looking to get a new phone, and are thinking that perhaps now the time is right – you’re going to definitely want to give these folks a call. The Commuter Series line, as well as other types of cases, can be found for many models of HTC and Motorola phones at their website.
