Cobra Mobile announced today the launch of iBomber for mobile and tablet on Google Play and China Mobile. This will be the first appearance on Android for the iBomber series, which has been downloaded over 10 million times on iOS. The iBomber series consists of iBomber, iBomber 2 and iBomber Defense.
iBomber is set during World War Two, an arcade styled bombing game based in the Pacific Ocean in 1943. Players complete a series of missions in which they must fly over enemy territories and destroy targets including tanks, buildings and battleships. The player must also avoid enemy fire, as well as collecting power-ups.
Players tilt their device to control the aircraft or swipe the screen and drop bombs by tapping on the target. Successfully completing missions gives players in-game currency for purchasing new aircraft and weapons. iBomber on Android has also included additional weapons and firepower from iBomber 2.
