The LG Optimus One is a mid-range device that will be sporting Android 2.2 and as we already know this device will be heading to T-Mobile under the name LG Optimus and will also be headed to Verizon as the LG Vortex. As you can see in the image above, Sprint is grabbing the LG Optimus One as well calling it the LG Optimus S which will be a good thing for LG when multiple carriers pick up this device as we’ve seen before with the Galaxy S line.
Features of the LG Optimus S include:
- Android 2.2 (Froyo)
- 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen
- 600MHz processor
- 3-megapixel camera with face tracking and “smile shotâ€
- 170MB of internal storage
- 1500mAh battery
While pricing and availability nor the device itself has been announced, we’ll assume this device will be making its way to shelves around the holidays.
Now that we know Sprint has two new devices coming soon, which one do you like more, the LG Optimus S or the Samsung Transform?
