Inverted Google Plus, Contacts, Calendar, Email, Play Store apps and More

We have been so busy in the real world that we have been seriously slacking on bringing you guys some awesome stuff that is easy to install and gives your device a whole new look and feel. Of the things we love the most like Launchers, themes and new apps, inverted apps have to be at the top of the list for visually pleasing and fun. I can’t tell you how many times in the past my friends have grabbed my phone to show me something and see an inverted market or something and say “Hey, mine doesn’t look like that. That is sick.”

We have posted up many inverted apps in the past, but not for quite sometime. That means all the ones we have up are outdated and need to be refreshed with the latest version in the Play Store. So we thought we would go dig some out and share them with you guys.

Travp624 has a fairly extensive collection of inverted apps that he has done with the help of a friend f ours, B-Boy. The inverted apps are easily installed thanks to the wonders of CWM or TWRP recoveries. Simply download the app you want to have flipped and flash away.  He has Contacts, Calendar, Email, Talk and MMS all inverted for ICS AOSP based devices. Those won’t be updated any longer though. He also has the same inverted versions for you Jelly Bean AOSP toting guys out there too. We shouldn’t have to mention, but we will, the flashable apps will only work if your device is AOSP based. Meaning no TouchWiz, Sense or Moto UI. Can’t have any of the fancy UI’s in them or these system apps won’t convert.

For the nonspecific, travp624 also has the latest Play Store, 3.8.17, available for everyone to check out too. The buck doesn’t stop there though. On his RootzWiki thread he has Google Plus, Google Music, YouTube, Google Reader, Google Voice and Gmail. Talk about a lot of work and time to keep up with the latest builds of everything from Google.

Are you drooling yet? Looks like I am going to be busy installing and flashing away tonight. The Android OS specif apps all need to be flashed to install since they are system apps. But the inverted versions of standard apps you can get in the Play Store are all just apk’s. Simply download the one you want, uninstall the current version you have, then install the new one like you would any other 3rd party apk.

If you like them as much as we do then you probably want to get to downloading and black out your device. Well, we aren’t gonna tell you where they are… Just kidding. You will want to point your browser to travp624’s RootzWiki thread for all the latest builds and releases along with plenty of screenshots and instructions for installation. Be sure to donate if you love the work, he likes beer and soda too. And please remember, you take on any and all responsibility for anything you do to your device. I you don’t know what you have or what you are doing, you should read. If it still doesn’t make sense, then you might not want to go forward.
