I know many of you have been waiting for this update just as much as I have.
T-Mobile was kind enough to let me know that the update for their
Samsung Galaxy S III is live and available for updating. As you can see below the package size is 334.19 and brings the device up to
Android 4.1.1 with a baseband version of T999UVLJA. Â The update is available via Samsung Kies and as an OTA. So pick your poison for updating. It didn’t prompt me right away to make the update but after hitting Menu > Settings > About Device and checking for updates, it prompted right away.
Be sure your device is charged up over 50% before starting any install process. For direction on how to install via Samsung Kies, check out T-Mobiles support page. That only leaves AT&T and Verizon to get their acts together and start pushing out an update for their customers too.
