LG Aloha Gets Fitted for GSM

We have all seen the LG Ally in that Iron Man 2 themed commercial showing off what it can do, as well as the Android OS. If you want the LG Ally, you would have to head to Verizon, who has the CDMA version. LG Is working on the GSM version called the LG C710 aka “Aloha.”Although the device has not been announced yet nor its final resting place, it will still rock the same specs as its CDMA counterpart.

What is CDMA? For a rough answer, a CDMA  device does not allow SIM cards because the wireless carrier is built in, whereas GSM devices require a SIM card for the network to be utilized.

Specs for the LG C710 aka “Aloha” include:

  • Android 2.1
  • DivX and XviD support
  • WiFi up to N
  • FM Radio
  • 512MB ROM
  • 256MB of RAM
  • 600MHz Qualcomm processor
  • 5-megapixel (with LED flash)
  • 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen
  • QWERTY keyboard
