LogMeIn Ignition lands in the Amazon app store for Kindle Fire

Well this is a nice surprise. LogMeIn Ignition has now been made available on the new Kindle Fire. For those of you that might not be familiar with LogMeIn, it is a remote access application that, when set up, can allow you to access to any PC that has the software enabled on it. Giving you full access to control your PC, manage and download files on the go. I have used it many times via my Vibrant to control various aspects of my PC and even move video files to shared folders for streaming purposes. It truly is a very valuable and useful bit of software.

“Amazon’s entry into the tablet race opens up the opportunity for LogMeIn Ignition to address a new audience who can benefit from connecting their tablet to the PC or Mac.” said Andrew Burton, SVP Products at LogMeIn.  “Having Ignition available on day one allows us to attract early buyers who will be exploring how the Kindle Fire can be used for home and work.”

With the addition of this software available at launch of the Kindle Fire, you can easily see how this tablet will make a big difference in your life. Feel free to read the entire press release below.
