Well if you’ve been on the internet for the past couple of months you know Palm has been on a downward spiral. Top Palm exec’s have fled the company, and today another one left. Matias Duarte , spearhead of design for WebOS and the Sidekick has bailed for a position with none other than Google’s Andy Rubin. Matias Duarte will now become the experience director for Android.
Hopefully Mr. Duarte can fix Android’s reputation and help it become appealing out of the box. Areas that could use some improvement are a more appealing music app and a better overall user experience. Whatever he brings, I’m sure it will be a great addition.
