Motorola Backflip officially released

So the Motorola Motus gets officially christened as the Backflip. Motorola has named it Backflip due to its ability to reverse flip to use phone in different ways. The phone runs Android 1.5 (upgradable to Android 2.x) and boasts Motorola’s acclaimed MotoBlur UI. Backflip comes with a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen but you can reverse-flip to show QWERTY keyboards and Backtrack, a touch panel at the back for easier scrolling.

Additionally, the phone has 3G, Wi-Fi, 5MP camera, full HTML browser, Bluetooth and GPS. Motorola has not set the price yet but will launch the device in Q1 2010 in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

You can find the complete specifications on the Motorola site.
