Everybody who is waiting and drooling over the Verizon Motorola DROID in the US can be jealous even more. T-Mobile UK today released the Motorola Milestone GSM version. This amazing device is Android 2.0 based if you didn’t already know. Does this mean that a US version is on the horizon? who knows!
The Motorola Milestone has already been released in other European market, and is available for a pre-order status on some retail sites for the UK. It is now available from Expansys, fully unlocked for £449.99 (around $812 US) off-contract. The device is also available on a contract with T-Mobile with a £35.00 per month service agreement for 18 months. It does seem that currently the device is available exclusively from Expansys.
So we know that the Verizon DROID has already been rooted here in the US,does this mean the sametechnique can be used for the GSM version of this device?
