Google is now adding in nickname support to allow you to add your nickname to your current G+ account. If you are wanting to jump on board and add that nickname to your profile finally, it is pretty easy. Click on your Google+ profile, click Edit Profile, select your name and click on “More options.†Then add in your nick name and how you want it all to display. I just attempted to take a look and see if I could change anything in my settings, but sadly I don’t have the options yet. It is supposed to be rolled out over the next week to every Google+ user. So if you can’t do it yet, know that you soon will be able too.
Looking at the image provided, it doesn’t look like you can set it to display only the nickname at this time, but rather a few various combinations of your real name and nickname. At least you will be able to get it added into your profile soon.
