T-Mobile formally announces next ‘Magenta Deal Days’ Zero Down Promo

Have you been holding off on snagging a new device knowing that T-mobile, or someone, would put it on sale sooner or later? Good call. T-mobile has just announced their next ‘Magenta Deal Days’ for the fall line up. Aiming to get you in the possession of a new 4G smartphone for nothing out-of-pocket. That’s right, they are offering their entire 4G device line-up for $0 down with a two-year contract and with qualifying Unlimited ValueTM and Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plans.

The headlines are always to good to be true aren’t they? Of course they are. Nothing down sounds like a dream and it actually is. You will have to fork over some set dollar amount to walk out of the store with a new device. How much depends on the device you are after. If you want the new still semi new Samsung Galaxy S III, be prepared to fork over $149.99. Defeats the purpose of a zero down promotion doesn’t it? You get that money back of course, in 6 to 8 weeks via a pre-paid visa gift card. Ah, the power of marketing and advertising. They hope you fail to qualify or forget to file for it though. Take a gander at a sample of the ACTUAL pricing below.

Sneaky little…. There are some interesting little things in the sample pricing guide though. One being the listing for the Samsung Galaxy Note. Maybe they have a special limited amount of stock left to offer up. It has been listed as out of stock for some time but has yet to be pulled from the site. You might also notice the Galaxy S Relay 4G in there too. That device is said to be launched tomorrow for $149.99 on a classic plan.

In the long run though, it is still a great offering. Beats the huge price tag that were offering the S III for initially with contracts. You do need to be on a Value plan and not a Classic plan to take advantage of the deal. Those are the ones that allow you to pick up a device for a lesser down payment and pay it off over time. Personally, that type of plan is what I have been on for over 4 years. My bills are less than those classic plans that offer up discounts on handsets, even with the added monthly charge for the device.

The promo starts on September 21st and runs through September 30th. Giving you a week to poke, prod and understand the promo in full detail before making the commitment. It is a hard offer to not take advantage off though, even with the Note II looming on the horizon and potential word of the LG Optimus G and HTC One X+. What are you thinking about doing? Take a quick read through the full press release below.
