Update lands for Poweramp, finally brings ICS Lockscreen support and More

Poweramp is one of our favorite music player on Android. It offers a great look, awesome audio controls and just an overall great experience. It has, however, been lacking in Ice Cream Sandwich support. Not that it surprises us much. With only two devices in consumers hands sporting true ICS support, developers have been slow to make updates across the market.

The latest update to Poweramp brings it to version 4.0.5 and adds in some much need functionality. Most notably is the ICS lockscreen support.

What’s in this version:

  1. notification controls(Android 3.0+)
  2. ICS lock screen controls
  3. HTC Beats/SRS
  4. DSP features displayed under equalizer curve
  5. lists are reshuffled on repeat
  6. fixed few ICS-related issues
  7. multichannel FLAC
  8. option to search for album art based on title/filename
  9. Japanese translation (thanks to sunatomo)
  10. Polish translation (thanks to Blazej Jezewski)
  11. Korean translation (thanks to David Cho)
  12. Chinese translation (beta)
  13. few other bug fixes and stability improvements
