July 4th, Independence Day, the day that the United States freed its self from an alien invasion thanks to Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum in 1996. At least, to those that might not know what it really means anyways. In reality it was the day the United States adopted the Declaration of Independence from Great Britain in 1776. With the Federal holiday comes fireworks, BBQ’s and sales. Leave it to America to commercialize everything. Not that I will complain about a sale. If you are in the market for some great titles from 2K games, now is the time to burn up those Google Opinion Reward credits as they are having a pretty good sale right now.
iOS users have a leg up on us for one title, BioShock, at $4.99 vs $9.99. Damn those iOS users. The rest of us can grab Sid Meir’s Civilization Revolution 2 and XCOM: Enemy Within for 50% off. That takes both from $9.99 to $4.99 a piece. Think of it as a two-for-one offer. I am sure Tony Simons will jump on the WWE 2K deal which is $5.99 from $7.99. On the other sports front, NHL 2K is also on sale from $7.99 to $2.99. The company also mentions NBA 2K15 as being on sale from $7.99 to $2.99, but fail to mention what that covers since the game is free. I assume it is an in-app purchase for something.
To grab any, or all, of the titles your best bet will to head to 2K games Google Play Store page, links to a few specific titles below.
