Seriously, I need start signing up for conferences like this one. This morning, more than 3,000 free Google TV devices were given to attendees of the Adobe MAX conference. There go next year’s tickets – GONE! With Google TV now available and slowly making its way into our living rooms, it seems like Google wants this device in every home!
According to The Official Google TV Blog:
We’re excited that consumers are finally taking these out of the box and have been hearing a lot of positive early feedback. And while people may think that Google TV is great now, we can’t wait for them to see what’s coming.
Adobe CTO demoing Google TV on stage at the Keynote at Adobe MAX:
Believe it or not, that wasn’t the only surprise the attendees were showered with. On the first day of the Adobe MAX conference in L.A, attendees all received a new Motorola Droid 2. We can tell that Adobe is all about Android.
Google is now extending their spirit of giving to a larger audience. They are giving away 10,000 Google TV devices to 10,000 lucky developers.
If you are a professional web developer who wants to help make the Google TV experience even better and you don’t happen to fall into one of those two groups, please submit an entry to our Google TV Web Developer Promotion and include a short summary about the type of interesting website your company would like to create or optimize for Google TV. We’re planning to select 2,500 winners from those entries to receive a free Google TV device.

I really need to get better at tracking these conferences! They REALLY DO pay off, don’t they?
