HTC Legend and Bravo officially launched !

Today, During the Mobile World Congress, HTC officially launched the most anticipated smartphones, The HTC Legend and the HTC Desire (Bravo). Both Smartphones are beautiful and awesome.

HTC Legend , also known as HTC Hero successor . HTC Legend is powered by Android 2.1. In size, the HTC Legend is little smaller then the Hero. But if you talk about specs, Then HTC Legend is way better. The HTC Legend debuts a new version of HTC Sense . The HTC Legend features:

  • Android 2.1
  • 600MHz Qualcomm  MSM7227
  • 3.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with multitouch support
  • 5-megapixel camera with LED flash
  • WiFi b/g, Bluetooth
  • microUSB port
  • Dualband UMTS/HSPA (900/1800)

And now the HTC Desire, previously known as the HTC Bravo . The look and specs of the Desire is almost similar to the Nexus One. The difference is that the HTC Desire doesn’t comes with a physical trackball unlike the Nexus One which also includes active noise cancellation. The Desire also comes with the latest Sense UI. The newest Sense UI comes with some new features like improved social network integration and new Friend Stream update app. The HTC Desire features:

  • 1GHz Snapgragon processor
  • 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
  • 5-megapixel camera with LED flash
  • Android 2.1
  • Quadband GSM/EDGE
  • Dualband (900/2100) UMTS/HSPA
  • WiFi, Bluetooth
  • GPS/AGPS

HTC Desire should arrive in European and Asian markets in the start of  Q2 2010. HTC said that No plans for a US version. But no problem, We have Nexus One here . No words on price. More pictures available on Slashgear.

Update: T-Mobile announced on their Twitter Account this morning that “The HTC Desire, just unveiled by HTC at MWC, will be available on T-Mobile from 26th March”.
