Today Google released Google Maps 3.3.0.
The new version has some very nice updates and not simply the invisible fixes ad small tweaks. You can now easily find nearby businesses and use the new Labs section with options for:
– Adding a distance scale bar on the map.
– Search using popular categories.
– Show a terrain layer that actually shows shading for higher and lower ground.
– Chane your location dot into a compass arrow.
– Additionally, a number of new layers have been added.
The new version is available in the Android Market for phones running Android 1.6 and up
