Update: Adobe’s Flash Player And AIR Gets Updated Brings Android 2.3 Support

With the previous Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe AIR update, many of you may have noticed in the description that an update would be dropping on November 9th to prep the devices for the arrival of future Android OS updates, the update also brings a security exploit patch.

With Android 2.3, aka Gingerbread, set to arrive here shortly, it seems that Adobe may have unofficially confirmed the firmware update in a round about way. Today is November 9th and the update has finally arrived in the Android Market and below you can find a shortcut to download the latest Adobe updates.

Adobe Flash Player 10.1 has been updated to version 10.1.105.6 and Adobe AIR will soon be updated to version 2.5.1. The only thing left to do is wait for Gingerbread to arrive.
