Many of you will be excited to see After Earth, the new movie starring Will Smith and his son, Jaden. To accompany the movie release, Reliance Games has released a movie tie-in game with the same name. The game features the endless running formula we have come to love because of games like Temple Run, and is quite appropriate given the nature of the film and its theme of survival.
The game itself is structured with a Story Mode that will step you through 20 levels which mirror the events of the movie and also an Infinite Mode, which should be pretty self explanatory for this type of game. After Earth also features achievements and high score tracking for your gloating needs.
The After Earth mobile game actually does look quite good, graphically and conceptually, with variations on the endless runner formula  which looks to break up the monotony of running (or any movement) on the same level over and over. Have a watch of the gameplay trailer below:
