Sony is expected to be announcing its half yearly flagship refresh in the next month or so with the Sony Xperia Z4, and the rumour mill has been turning. The latest leak actually shows very little new information in terms of overall design, but we do see a bit of information on the screen of the device, namely the model number of the device (E6553) and the fact it is running a Qualcomm MSM8994 chipset, better known as the Snapdragon 810 processor.
These details line up with what we’re expecting from the device, assuming that the device stays largely the same as the Xperia Z3 otherwise. Design wise, we can see that the Xperia Z4 still has the 20.7MP camera it has had since the Xperia Z1 and that Sony is still maintaining the same button configuration with the power button adorning the side of the device. Of course, the Xperia Z4 is also running Android Lollipop, which is almost a given for devices releasing from here on out.
