Amazon starts teasing for Holiday freebies set for Dec 24th – 26th

Amazon_FeatureImageThere are always a few things we can count on come November and December. We can count on great deals across the web, Google to give us some discounts, perks and even some freebies and for Amazon to put their best foot forward with a fairly large amount of digital content freebies. This holiday season is no different as Amazon has recently alerted us all that their holiday freebies and digital content deals will go live on December 24th.

The specifics are a bit muddy right now, at least to what the full scope of titles are going to be. We know that Amazon plans to drop over $220 worth of apps for consumers to snag at no charge and some of those will come from Halfbrick Studios, Rovio Entertainment and SEGA of America. Amazon is starting part of the promotional savings today on Amazon coins though. If you buy or gift any Amazon coins you will up to 30% discount on the purchase. Amazon coins is a currency to use towards in-game content purchases.

The Holiday sale will go beyond free apps  and expand into Amazon Instant Video with up to 50% off Holiday and Kids movies / TV Shows through December 25th. Favorites like Dr. Seuss: How the Grinch Stole Christmas, White Christmas, Polar Express, Home Alone, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Elf. Check out all the movies and TV shows here.

You can also expect to find a slew of limited time deals on Music and Kindle Books too. Don’t forget they also have a few  Amazon devices like the Fire TV, Fire HD 7, Fire HD 6 and Fire HDX tablets on sale still for the holidays. If they are in stock, which it looks like most are, then you should have them delivered Christmas eve if you get your orders in today.
