All you Nexus One owners out there can breathe a little easier — we’re hearing that Android 2.3 Gingerbread is being pushed out to the Nexus One as we speak. We can only fathom all them new slick features that don’t require you to have new hardware. We here at AndroidStory can’t wait to get the update.

UPDATE: Looks like this little nugget of information jumped the gun a little bit. Unfortunately it looks like this much anticipated update won’t be available just yet. The 2.3 update should be rolling out in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more information as it develops.
