Today using SirPsychoS’s recovery image humancyborg managed to install Android 2.1 on his Verizon Droid.
The system.img can be downloaded by clicking here. Warning, we are not responsible if you brick your device.
This image was generated using mkyaffs2img, this does not preserve file system permissions. This can cause problems and you should wait until a proper image has been created. A guide will follow once a proper image has been created with the correct file system permissions.
