Android 4.4 KitKat Site May Soon Have a Countdown Clock to Official Release

AndroidKitKatPic

There has never been so much built up anticipation for a new Android OS and a new Nexus in such a long time. Android 4.4 and the Nexus 5 have seen leaks, rumors, images, you name it. Dates have been tossed around as well, and if you really think about it, Google and Kit Kat did not even have to really market much. Just throw some dates out there and let the community go buck wild with it. Sites are even trying to decipher certain songs that have been quoted on the Kit Kat website to determine when the official announcement will be. We can be silly at times.

A code was found in the JavaScript listed as kitkat.min.js. There, you will find a section that says “comingsoon-countdown”, indicating that they may throw up a countdown clock really soon to give us our answer when the release will be. None of this has been confirmed of course, but we are seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. We must be patent Android friends. We will get our KitKat soon.
