Another teaser for Gameloft’s N.O.V.A 3 gets released, a little Halo influence mixed In

The other day we got our first looks a teaser of N.O.V.A 3 from Gameloft. I must have watched it at least a dozen times in awe. They always make playing the game look easier than it ever is. They have since released another little teaser trailer that shows off some of the amazing multiplayer gameplay. That aspect of the gameplay looks even better. While teaming up with your friends is always a good time, there is nothing like hoping inside vehicles and causing some mayhem together. Reminds of Halo in a way. It supports up to 12 players at a time with 6 different game modes and 3 different vehicles. They are also adding in character classes to choose from along with customizable weapon slots and colors. At the customize player screen you can see a gold coin in the upper left hand side. We have a feeling the game might launch for free with in game purchases to buy weapons and certain colors. That part is still a bit ify as far as concrete verification goes. IT wouldn’t surprise us though. Many game developers have switched to in game purchase systems and are making a lot more money than with a single purchase. It also allows the developers to add new maps, guns and personalized additions that you can pay for to get access too. It also cuts down on the pirating if it is already free, no reason to steal it.

The end of the video still points towards a release sometime this month, but without and specific date or hints as to when. I wonder if they teamed up with Samsung and plan to release it with the Galaxy S III in a little under an hour from now. That would certainly be  a good time and way to push the game to the world. I am doubtful that will be the case, but I can always hope.
