As Android users, our keyboard application is an invaluable asset. We use it for everything from surfing the web to sending text messages. We have quite a few choices out there currently to choose from. Some people like SwiftKey others love Swype. No matter what keyboard you prefer to use, there is always another choice available to try out.
In mid July A.I.type released their Beta keyboard to the Android Market. Covering both standard devices and tablets, it is sure to be a hit. It features all the same comforts you are currently used to. Auto correct, word suggestion and themes.
Key features:
* Suggests your next word!
* Completes your current word!
* Corrects your spelling as you type!
* Auto corrects your typos when you hit the spacebar (context-sensitive)!
* Supports unique skins (Windows Phone 7 skin, iPhone skin, large buttons skin and more).
* Allows skin customization – colors, background images etc. (Beta).
* Includes a layout for undo/redo/copy/paste/navigation and more (a long click on the letter V will take you there).
Currently under quality tests (write us to get the features before everybody else):
* Tablet version
* Adapting to user writing style (note: knowledge will be stored on the device and will not be shared with the servers).
If you have been in the market for a new keyboard to try out, by all means go check out A.I.Type. I haven’t had a chance to give it a try just yet, I’m kinda stuck on my Swype.
