I have noticed that more and more people are requesting ways to change the appearance of their device with out having to have root. The simplest way to achieve this is through various applications and icon packs. We don’t hide the fact AWD Launcher EX is one of our personal favorite launcher apps available. I found another free icon pack aimed at customizing the launcher icons that I thought you might find useful.
Simply enough it’s called ‘App Drawer Icon Pack’ by SmithTech. He has created quite a good assortment of icons to choose from and is constantly taking requests and making updates. Take a look below at what’s available currently.
He has incorporated quite a few different designs and colors so far. Heck, there are even some of the most popular sports team available. The only requirement for use of this icon pack is ADW.Launcher version 1.5.1 or newer.
How to use the icon pack.
- Long press on your screen and select ‘Custom shortcut’
- Select ‘pick your activity’ > ‘Launcher action’ > ‘Open/Close App Drawer’
- Tap on the icon on the left hand side
- Then you will see the screen above, select ‘ADWTheme IconPack’
- If you have more than one Icon Pack installed, you want to choose ‘App Drawer Icon Pack’
- Simply choose the icon you wish to use as your launcher. It will add that icon to your home screen.
- Now drag that icon to the app drawer launcher location in bottom center of your dock and drop it.
- All done. Now you have a new app drawer icon.
