We recently brought you a review of Dish Networks latest venture TV Everywhere. I thought I might show you guys their weather application backed by The Weather Channel also. I have been using this application for a few weeks. I know most, if not all of us, are already running beautiful widgets or one of many other weather applications that exist in the market. So this application has to offer us something new to warrant a download. Here’s what I love about it.
- Now, Hourly, 36 Hour and 10 day forecasts.

The videos update all the time with new information on your regions weather with a variety of news anchors sharing a 30 second look at what is happening. In map mode you can zoom in and out much like Google maps. You get a real time tracking of precipitation moving across the area.
It is a useful application and simple to use. You don’t need Dish Network to utilize this application. The only thing I would like to see in future updates could be an implementation of a widget of some kind.
