Firstly, Steam Birds is on sale right now for $0.99, so grab it quick if you like the idea of some turned based air combat as the price is due to rise today.
Steam Birds is 20+ levels of turned based air combat. You choose the direction you want your plane to head in and any abilities it should use and watch the action play out. The trick is to try to get behind the enemy planes without getting shot by others or attacked by their special abilities. It’s pretty addictive to try to get  4 stars on each level however some missions, particularly ones with craft that can fire in any direction, get very tough.
The game’s presentation is one of it’s great features, with a basic turned based premise they could have really phoned in the graphics, but everything moves well and looks great.
