[APP] Tallytap – Not All Calculators Help You in the Game of Life

When the developer of this application approached me asking for us to take a look at it, I didn’t know what to say. I’m all about fun and functionality, what on earth am I gonna do with a financial calculator. Being that I rent my house, have no 401K or Credit cards. Ya, I am one of those people. Cash talks and if I can’t buy it out right, I don’t want it.

I took the dev up on the offer and sent a link to a buddy. The one friend we all have that is so far in debt that you don’t know how he can afford to go have a drink with you and pay. Ya, that kinda guy. I asked him to take a look at it on a personal level and see what he thought. To my astonishment he came back with great things to say.

  After checking out where he was at with his mortgage and other finances he almost lost it. Seeing how long it would take him to pay all this stuff off and how much more it will cost him then what he paid for it really blew his mind. After that, the only solution was to hit the “What if” button and made an adjustment to his monthly statement. Adding an additional $75 bucks a month to his car loan, he would save $211.10 on his loan and shave off 7 months worth of payments. He is a happy camper.

The developer did a great job at taking the guess work out of trying to save you money on with long term problems. If you have been looking for an easy to use calculator that will project your payments, solve your debt and help you save better for retirement, I think you should really give this app a try.

It is FREE in the market which does mean it has ad support. Since this isn’t a major game or something, the ads don’t get in the way of the app helping you.
