I flash a minimum of 1 to 3 times a day. If nothing has been updated or I really like the specific rom or kernel I flashed, then I sometimes do go for a few days without flashing anything.
I can’t even give you a maximum number. It all depends on the day. I say “It all depends on the day†because I’m not a developer, a themer or a wallpaper designer.
I haven’t a clue of when they will decide to update something or design something amazing.
Plus you never ever ask when the next update is coming!†It is common knowledge in the android community unless you’re a noob in which case us old guys have to repeat ourselves a million times….You Never Ever Ask For ETA’s!†It will come when it comes!â€
Alas I’m just an everyday guy that is thankful for the hard-working men and women that put in hours and hours of their free time so that I can feed my addiction to flash.
Now even though I flash a lot. I’m picky about which roms, themes or kernels I do flash. I think everyone has their favorites. I have about 5 roms on my sd card at all times.
When something new comes along I do like to read about it. If it sounds interesting to me then I’ll download it and try it.
If I like then I’ll keep it on my phone. If the specific rom happens to be updated nightly then I’ll put it on my list for daily downloading and flashing time.
“I have so many customs roms, custom themes, custom wallpapers and radios to customize my phone the way I want it’s insane!â€
“Hell…I know I’m insane but I happen to do a few very important, smart and sane things…..
Before flashing I always make sure my battery is at least 50% charged. It probably should be at 100% but for multiple daily flashers such as myself it isn’t always that way.
The second thing I do is backup my current rom/setup. I flash a lot so I usually have a few of my favorite roms already set up the way I like and backed up just in case.
The third thing I do is if I flash a new kernel I do test it out for a few days to get a proper idea how the battery life will be. When it comes to kernels I don’t recommend flashing one after another as it could do some damage plus your battery life will suck!â€
And the fourth most important thing I never do is Dirty Flash!” You guys that dirty flash all the time are just asking for it!” Â Aways wipe and use a clean slate or you will catch something nasty haha!”
With all the amazing things the developers, themers and wallpaper guys are constantly coming out and up with. It is extremely hard not to be a CrackFlasher.
I know I’m not the only CrackFlasher in The Android Community. We all do it!” So everyone stand up, Be proud and say your name, Where your from and that you are a “CrackFlasher Too!” If you aren’t in the mood to leave a comment, hit the poll below to let everyone know how many times a week you end up flashing your device.
