The Asphalt franchise from Gameloft has quickly become the Burnout of the mobile gaming world, using the winning formula of high-speed races and flashy cars to great effect.
Gameloft has been noticeably coy about the release date of its next game in the Asphalt series, the highly anticipated Asphalt 8: Airborne, for some time now, but finally the beans were spilled the other day; on their official Twitter account, it was said that the game will become available on Android and iOS on August 22nd for $0.99.
