ASUS Transformer 2 officially name Transformer Prime, launch page up and Running, more details Emerge

Great, another ‘Prime’ device name is landing. At least this time we know it to be truth and to be wickedly bad-a$$. Seriously, the worlds first NVIDIA’s Kal-El quad-core mobile chip set. Ultra thin, ultra sleek and super sexy.  The teaser video proved that with out a doubt. The site is already touting the Prime as “setting a new industry standard for how fast a tablet should be.” Sounds great to me. They are expected to do a full unveiling of the Transformer Prime on November 9th with a launch date not to far off, we hope.

There was an interview that took place with Jonney Shih, CEO of ASUS, at the All Things D event where the Transformer Prime mad an appearance. It is at about the 6:10 marker in the video below. You can see just how ultra thin the tablet and the keyboard are. Shih also makes mention of battery life when docked being 16.5 hours of life. Separated you have approximately 8.5 hours of life as a stand alone tablet. It also ha an all aluminum housing for the tablet and for the keyboard. Absolutely beautiful if you ask me. Since they have plans to bring ICS to the original Transformer, I have no doubt in my mind that the Prime should have it at or shortly after it launches.
