Asus Transformer Pad 300 expected to ship April 22

For those of you who have a Transformer Prime, you may want to think about closing this article, because this will probably be tough to hear. Your “new” tablet is just about to be replaced by something even “newer”!

According to a recent report by PC World, Asus is expected to ship the Asus Transformer Pad 300 starting April 22, and it will feature a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, a 10.1-inch screen, LTE network capabilities, Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed, and 1GB of RAM. As of storage and pricing, $399 will get you a 32GB Asus Transformer Pad 300. However, there is no news whether or not the tablet will be hitting Verizon or AT&T officially as of yet.

The new tablet will feature up to 10 hours of battery life, or a maximum of 15 hours if you plan to purchase the optional lapdock accessory. Anyone excited to pick one up?
