The carrier wars to deliver the best value on your service is one we will be forced to endure for the rest of our lives. AT&T and T-Mobile battle things out quite often in both public and in private. Today AT&T has announced a bump to its GoPhone plan offerings to give customers a little more bang for their buck. The jumps come into play on the $60 and $45 plans respectively.
Beginning February 20th GoPhone customers on the $45 plan will be bumped to 1.5GBs of data versus the current 1GB. Those on the 2.5GB plan for $60 a month will jump to 4GBs of data. No need to call in and let them know you want it as it will be an automatic bump on your account. In addition to the bump in data, those same plans also offer unlimited calls and text to Mexico.
In contrast, T-Mobile offers 1GB for $40, 3GB for $50 and 5GB for $60.
