By the lack of Android devices currently available on AT&T we can only assume that the carrier exclusively offering the iPhone couldn’t possibly like Android especially with their personal need to remove some key components of the open source availability that developers need to produce for them. Although, according to CEO Randall Stephenson in his statements made to Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswire reporters that, in fact after the launch of the HTC Aria that he could see another Android device whether it be a phone or a tablet. He hints that given the changes of technology with the spread of tablet-talk that AT&T customers could possibly see a release before the end of 2010.
As competition grows between AT&T and Verizon, seeing that Verizon is not slowing down with their coninuous launch of Android devices, Stephenson “doesn’t lose sleep.”
